Project Rescue Grievance Procedure

1. Member submits signed Project Rescue Grievance Form to Program Manager with full description of grievance and suggested resolution, signed by witnesses, if applicable.
2. Program Manager will schedule an informal face-to-face meeting to attempt a resolution, inviting witnesses if needed. Program Manager will make notes of the discussion, with member’s signature for verification.
3. If grievance is not resolved, a second meeting will be scheduled the next day. Again, if no resolution is reached, Program Manager will make notes, with member’s signature. Program Manager will then offer to bring in an Ombudsman for a third meeting. The member will be advised that if he cannot agree with the Ombudsman’s decision, the next step could be immediate expulsion from the Program.
4. If requested, member will meet with Program Manager and Ombudsman, and a final attempt will be made for a resolution acceptable to all parties.
5. Ombudsman’s recommendation will be presented to the Program Director for final decision.
