We believe addiction is a spiritual sickness.
We believe spiritual sickness is the church's territory.
Therefore, we would like the program member's home congregation to contribute to his first 30 days in the program.
All checks are to be written to Project Rescue and sent to 1231 Main Street West, Hartselle, Alabama 35640.
$1,000 is needed to support a member in the program for the first 30 days. This covers his housing, food and local transportation. Typically, this amount is contributed by the member's home congregation, the member himself, family members, and/or other interested parties.
After the first 30 days we want the program member to work and help support himself in the program. $600 a month is needed to provide for his housing and local transportation. $200 a month is needed to provide his food.
The time when members begin to work in the community is determined by their spiritual progress and physical and mental health.
Project Rescue is a work of the churches of Christ.
