Progress Reports
March/April 2009 Project Rescue Update
Dear brethren,
We appreciate your prayers and support.
We could not do what we’re doing without your help!
At this time we have 15 men in our program:
Jon, Ralph, Bryan, Curtis, Donnie, Jason, and
Timothy live in the Waycross apartment building.
Billy, Craig, Joe, Marcus, and Van are living in
their own apartments.
Randy, Robert and Todd live in our Callahan,
Florida mobile home.
Travis is living in Texas with his mother.
Joe and Jason were baptized into Christ last
Sunday night! Bill Nicks baptized Joe!
The other men who have obeyed the Gospel recently
are Donnie, Craig, Billy, Todd, and Timothy.
Chris’s wife Krystal was also recently added to
the church.
On Sunday mornings Frank Parker teaches a new
converts class to all these “newborn babes.”
Bill Nicks continues to preach on Sunday evenings.
He also teaches the Monday morning class.
Chris is doing a great job as our program manager.
He is a big help to me.
Besides the new converts class, Frank teaches a Bible class to the men on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Frank also teaches a 1pm daily class Monday thru Friday for the men who are not working.
Jeanie has the hard job of keeping the books.
In addition to handling the day-to-day operation of Project
Rescue inc., she is essentially the personal accountant for 15 men.
Our bottom line illustrates the enormity of Jeanie’s job:
From June of 2007 to April of 2009, $416,293.67 came into
Project Rescue. Then $414,537.50 of it
was spent on the men’s needs and on the purchasing and maintaining
of our facilities.
We are glad the men are finding work in the
community:
Timothy & Donnie work at Dick’s Wings restaurant.
Todd works in the mortgage department of a bank.
Billy works for Carter Electric.
Craig is a meat cutter for a grocery store.
Joe details cars for Gold Key Auto.
Jason works for Jerry Js Restaurant.
Robert drives a truck out of Jacksonville.
Ralph works for Ruby Tuesdays restaurant.
Jon works for a local contractor.
Randy, Curtis, Bryan, and Marcus are looking for
jobs.
Van is self-supported and helps us with
transportation.
Todd, Ralph and Jon are trying to repair their
marriages.
With your help we are making a difference in the
lives of these souls.
In His service,
